Panorama House is located in Chalets I in the Baca Grande, the area that is home to most of the residences and spiritual centers in Crestone. The center of town is less than two miles away, and the South Crestone and Willow Creek trailheads are a short uphill walk on Panorama Way. The house is also very close to the new Yeshe Rangsal stupa, the Carmelite monastery, and the local stables.

The house is situated on 1.5 private acres, and none of the adjacent properties on Panorama Way have structures on them. The terrain is typical of the high desert southwest, with plenty of prickly pear cactus, pinon trees, and adundant wildflowers during spring and summer.
